Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu announced that on the government platform "Without Paper", aimed at signaling bureaucratic problems in administration, over 2,200 complaints from citizens have been registered, most related to the implementation of the electronic identity card.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that many institutions have not downloaded the necessary applications for reading the new identity cards or have not purchased readers, which creates difficulties for citizens.

Gheorghiu emphasized that the state is sabotaging itself in this process. In collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, blockages will be identified and measures will be taken to resolve them monthly, focusing on the top ten areas of difficulty. Citizens who submit complaints will receive feedback and a tracking number to check their status. The Deputy Prime Minister promised monthly reports on the progress in resolving the identified issues.
