Starting Saturday, buses will again run on the tram tracks, on a single lane, which will help avoid traffic jams and improve connections between different public transport means, the Capital City Hall declared.

This measure was suspended at the end of December 2025 for safety reasons, due to difficult weather conditions that could have affected the braking of buses on the tracks.

Now, with more favorable weather, the City Hall has decided to return to this configuration. Additionally, STB has begun repair work on the roadway on the tram tracks, starting with the important intersections in the city, and this work will continue in other areas.
