The Bucharest Transport Company (STB) announced that, starting Friday, July 10, the route of the Bucharest City Tour tourist line will be extended to include the National Cathedral for the first time.

This change comes with two new routes: the Red Route, available on Fridays, which offers a complete journey through the major boulevards of Bucharest, and the Blue Route, available on Saturdays and Sundays. The Red Route will include important points such as the Press Square, the Village Museum, the Arch of Triumph, Victory Square, Revolution Square, and the National Cathedral. The Blue Route will cover similar locations, with the end of the line at Union Square.

Buses will operate on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and on public holidays, between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM. The fares remain unchanged, at 49 lei for adults and 25 lei for children aged 4 to 14. This extension offers tourists and Bucharest residents a unique opportunity to discover the Capital from the height of double-decker buses.
