Between January 17, 8:00 AM - January 19, 8:00 AM, the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service received 2,616 requests, of which 1,688 were emergency cases. In this context, 135 cases were reported in public places, including 92 suspicions of dislocations, sprains, fractures, as well as head and facial traumas, mostly caused by falls. Additionally, nine calls for hypothermia, 20 cases of fainting, and 7 syncopes were recorded, all reported in public places. These data highlight the impact of severe weather, with extremely low temperatures, on the health of the population.
