The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) announced on Monday new yellow alerts for unstable weather and intensifications of the wind, valid until Tuesday evening.
Thus, between July 27, 12:00 PM and July 27, 11:00 PM, in Maramureș, Crișana, Banat, Transylvania, the western half of Oltenia, and the northwest of Moldavia, there will be periods of atmospheric instability, characterized by intensifications of the wind, gusts of 50-70 km/h and isolated over 80 km/h, torrential downpours, electrical discharges, and possible hail.
The amounts of water will reach 15-25 l/m², and isolated may exceed 30-40 l/m².
Also, between July 27, 11:00 PM and July 28, 10:00 AM, a yellow alert for wind intensifications will be maintained in the Southern Carpathians and Curvature, with speeds of 70-80 km/h, and at high altitudes over 90-100 km/h.
On Tuesday, July 28, between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, the eastern part of Moldavia will be under another yellow alert, with gusts of 50-70 km/h. ANM emphasizes that the wind will be strong in other regions as well, including central Moldavia, eastern Transylvania, northern Dobrogea, and in western Oltenia.
