Romsilva's former acting director-general Teodor Țigan has stirred controversy after cashing a €100,000 bonus and re-hiring himself. He challenged the decision not to extend his contract and asked for his pension to be recalculated, citing special working conditions. The Court of Arad upheld his action, ordering the Pension House to recalculate his pension and pay the corresponding differences, updated with inflation.
