This new Tencent-developed AI model, the Hunyuan Turbo S, boasts response capabilities in just 1 second, outperforming existing models such as DeepSeek's R1. The success of DeepSeek's AI models has also prompted other Chinese tech giants, such as Alibaba, to start competing in this field.
