Border guards in Calafat found ten undocumented Iraqi and Syrian migrants in a minibus traveling from Bulgaria to Italy.

On Friday night, border guards from Calafat, in cooperation with Bulgarian authorities, stopped a Bulgarian minibus. They discovered ten foreign nationals from Iraq and Syria without valid documents hidden in the cargo compartment of the vehicle. The Bulgarian driver and passenger were also detained and the whole situation was taken over by the Bulgarian authorities for further investigation.
