A man in Dolj stabbed a taxi driver after robbing him of 200 lei. The victim was taken to hospital and the assailant was detained.

A 55-year-old taxi driver from Craiova was attacked by a 30-year-old customer who threatened him with a knife, stole 200 lei and stabbed him in the abdomen. The victim was taken to hospital, where doctors determined that his life was in danger. Police detained the assailant, a man from Bechet, for attempted aggravated murder and robbery, and he will be remanded in custody.
