Suceava County needs €78 million to repair the damage caused by the recent floods, which severely damaged infrastructure and housing.

Suceava County Council President Gheorghe Șoldan has announced that the county suffered significant damage due to Sunday's floods, estimating the financial needs at €78 million. Some 600 houses were destroyed or damaged and the town of Broșteni was left without water and sewage. Road infrastructure is badly affected, with 97 kilometers of county road and 37 bridges destroyed, leaving communities without access.
