Fire in Midia Port, on board a ship carrying ore. No casualties have been reported.

A strong fire broke out on Friday morning on a ship located in the Midia Port, according to information provided by Mediafax. The fire is spreading extensively at the stern of the ship, which is carrying ore. So far, no casualties have been reported.

At the scene, ISU Constanța has mobilized five fire engines, a ladder truck, a platform truck, a CBRN special vehicle, as well as a SMURD crew and a crew from the Constanța County Ambulance Service. Firefighters are working to locate and extinguish the fire, prioritizing the limitation of its spread. Authorities are monitoring the situation and will provide additional information as the intervention continues.
