Meteorologists from ANM have issued a nowcasting storm warning for Bucharest, where torrential downpours are expected to accumulate between 25 and 40 l/m², along with frequent lightning strikes. The warning is valid until 8:30 AM. A RO-Alert message has also been sent.
Additionally, an orange code has been issued for Olt County, where severe conditions are expected, including gusts of 70-90 km/h and medium-sized hail. Gorj County is under a yellow warning, with downpours expected to accumulate 15-25 l/m² and wind intensifications. Furthermore, orange codes are in effect for Giurgiu and Teleorman counties, and atmospheric instability is affecting the southern part of the country, including Argeș, Dâmbovița, Prahova counties, and the mountainous area of Buzău County, where significant amounts of rain are expected.
