The Romanian Intelligence Service monitored a foreign citizen of Arab origin, Z.M.F.I., and concluded that his activities pose a real threat to national security and the values of Romanian society. The SRI requested his expulsion from Romania, the report being forwarded to the General Inspectorate for Immigration and prosecutors. The foreigner's lawyer contests the measure, arguing that there is not enough evidence for expulsion. This is not the first time that the SRI requests the declaration of individuals as undesirable in Romania.
