A Palestinian citizen, monitored by the SRI for subversive activities related to Hamas, has been declared an undesirable person in Romania for the next 10 years. He, who has been living in Romania since before 1989, is married to a Romanian woman and works in the construction field. The secret services have identified signs of self-radicalization and the intention to carry out terrorist acts. The suspect contests the measure, claiming that his posts on Facebook do not incite violence and that he has a valid residence permit until 2028.
