On Saturday, firefighters, police officers, and representatives of the gas distribution operator intervened at Gymnasium School No. 130 in Sector 5 of the Capital, where a smell of gas was reported. The authorities were alerted around 10:35 by a gendarme on duty at the polling stations organized within the school premises.

ISU Bucharest - Ilfov teams, including CBRN structures, were mobilized to check the situation. Road traffic was temporarily restricted in the area. Previously, on Friday, a similar incident was reported, and checks showed that the smell originated from the sewage system, without posing a danger. On Saturday, the findings confirmed the same source, ensuring that there are no risks to citizens or to the conduct of the electoral process.
