CJAS Timis statistics show a significant decrease in the number of sick leave in the first six months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. The health minister believes that this trend reflects a reduction in fictitious leaves, a problem previously signaled by former minister Alexandru Rafila and former prime minister Marcel Ciolacu, who called for stricter controls to prevent abuses in the granting of sick leave.
