Severe weather: Strong wind in several counties in Romania

Meteorologists have issued a warning regarding the intensification of the wind between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, affecting the counties of Vrancea, Buzău, Ilfov, western Ialomița, and Călărași, as well as the Capital, where the wind will reach speeds of 50 – 65 km/h. In the Curvature Carpathians, gusts will reach 65 – 75 km/h. Additionally, between March 20, 10:00 AM and March 22, 6:00 PM, a wind advisory will affect the eastern half of the country, with intensifications of 40 – 45 km/h, and in the high mountain area of 60 – 70 km/h.

Until 6:00 PM on Friday, a yellow code for wind intensifications is in effect for Dobrogea, eastern Muntenia, and southern Moldova, where speeds will vary between 50 – 65 km/h, and in the Curvature Carpathians, gusts will reach 70 – 80 km/h. The affected counties include Brăila, Buzău, Călărași, Constanța, Galați, Ialomița, Tulcea, and Vrancea.
