Yellow code for hunting and storms in Romania: ANM warns about torrential rains and hail.

Meteorologists warn that on Sunday, between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM, the wind will have temporary intensifications in the center and southwest of Romania, with speeds of 45-55 km/h, and in the mountains, gusts will reach 60-80 km/h.

In the afternoon and evening, showers, electrical discharges, intensifications of the wind, storms, and hail are expected in areas such as the Eastern Carpathians, western Moldova, eastern Oltenia, and Muntenia, with water accumulations of 15-25 l/m². Additionally, a yellow wind alert is in effect for southern Banat and southwestern Oltenia, where gusts will reach 50-70 km/h. A yellow alert for heightened atmospheric instability is valid from June 1, 12:00 PM, to June 2, 10:00 AM, affecting Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, Transylvania, Oltenia, northern Muntenia, and Dobrogea, with torrential showers and the possibility of water quantities exceeding 40-50 l/m². The ANM mentions that phenomena of atmospheric instability will also be reported in the rest of the country.
