Camelia Voinea, a gymnastics coach, is accused by former gymnasts from Constanța of imposing abusive methods during training sessions. A former gymnast, now 31 years old, stated that the years spent at the Farul club destroyed her childhood, describing traumatic experiences of physical and psychological abuse. She recounted how Voinea physically assaulted her, hitting and humiliating her, creating an environment of extreme fear.

The former athlete confirmed that Voinea has not changed her behavior and that many other girls are afraid to speak about the abuses they suffered. She also mentioned that other coaches in the gym did not intervene, and the severity of the training exceeded disciplinary limits. The former gymnast described the "room of terror," a locker room where Voinea would assault her, and emphasized that fear and humiliation were part of the daily routine. She called for their stories to be heard, hoping for a change in the training system.
