On Sunday, in the locality of Ruja in Sibiu County, a road accident led to the serious injury of a man, who remained unconscious and in cardiac arrest. At the scene, ISU Sibiu mobilized two SMURD teams, one with a doctor, and a fire truck with a rescue module, with a SAJ team also intervening. The victim was extracted from the vehicle and resuscitation maneuvers are being performed. The SMURD helicopter from Brașov will join the intervention, and traffic between Ruja and Agnita is completely blocked.
