A serious road accident occurred on the night from Sunday to Monday, on DN 66, in the locality of Băcia, Hunedoara County. Two cars collided, resulting in eight injured, including two 7-year-old children. Firefighters from the Deva Detachment intervened at the scene, sending five ambulances and a rescue vehicle. The injured were transported to hospitals in Deva and Hunedoara, where they received care for various injuries. Two boys and four adults were taken to the Emergency Reception Unit in Deva, while two other adults were transported to UPU Hunedoara. A ninth person refused transport to the hospital. The police will investigate the causes of the accident.
