On Monday, the police, together with specialists from the National Institute of Forensic Science and the Special Intervention and Action Service, conducted a house search in a criminal case. The investigation targets the systematic dissemination, starting from March 6, 2024, of content associated with the Legionary Movement through a radio station that broadcasts exclusively online. The station would promote legionary symbols, the cult of individuals convicted of war crimes, and legionary ideology, questioning the nature and extent of the Holocaust, including through antisemitic messages.

These acts are prohibited by OUG 31/2002 and Law 157/2018. The police have seized relevant evidence for investigating these acts, and the investigations continue to establish legal responsibility. The action was carried out in accordance with the law, respecting procedural rights.
