A tourist in hypothermia is being searched for by mountain rescuers in the Bucegi Mountains, after asking for help. The search was suspended due to the weather, but has been resumed.

A tourist who is in an advanced state of exhaustion and hypothermia requested help near Lake Țigănești, in the Bucegi Mountains. The mountain rescuers from Râșnov and Brașov began the search on Sunday night, but after seven hours of efforts, they were unable to locate him due to unfavorable weather, having to suspend the operation.
On Monday morning, the search was resumed, with the support of teams from Zărnești and Predeal, as well as the Brașov Gendarmerie. A SMURD helicopter and a thermal imaging drone were also requested to assist in locating the missing tourist. The rescue operation is ongoing.
