SANITAS representatives met with the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, to discuss reforms in the healthcare system. Trade unionists are calling for the preservation of employees' jobs and incomes while austerity measures are being implemented, as well as for the health system to be exempted from the ban on secondments. The minister stressed the importance of accountability in hospital management, proposing performance-based contracts. Legislative changes to improve healthcare services were also presented.
