The Sanitas Federation has requested the Parliament to adopt, in an emergency regime, a legislative amendment that would allow public health units to hire staff without prior approval from the Government.
The President of Sanitas, Iulian Pope, emphasized that the current bureaucratic system delays the filling of vacant positions, in the context of a major staff shortage in hospitals.
The organization highlighted that hiring should be done based on the real needs of health units and within the limits of the available budget, without depending on memorandums that block the process.
The Federation believes that eliminating the mandatory memorandum is an urgent measure necessary for improving the public health system.
