SANITAS announces a warning strike on July 20 and a general strike on July 28

The National SANITAS Council has decided to declare a strike against the economic and social policies of the Government, complaining about the "serious defects regarding the incomes and rights of health and social assistance personnel". The unionists announce a warning strike on July 20 and a general strike starting on July 28 in all healthcare units across the country.

According to the unionists, on July 20, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM there will be a warning strike, and on July 28, 2026 - the initiation of the general strike.
