The mountain rescuers from the Brașov County Mountain Rescue Service warn tourists to avoid traveling in the mountainous areas of the county in the coming days due to a yellow alert for torrential rains and strong winds.

They emphasize that, under conditions of torrential rains, mountain trails can quickly become difficult and dangerous. Additionally, flash floods can form in narrow valleys and near steep slopes, while the moistening of the snow layer at altitude can lead to dangerous avalanches. Tourists are advised to adjust their routes and schedules according to the weather developments, to monitor forecasts, and to abandon ascents in case of a storm. Meteorologists announce wind gusts of 60-80 km/h and reduced visibility during showers, making maximum caution necessary in the mountainous area.
