INS: The gross income earned by employees who worked with a full-time employment contract in October 2024 was 8,374 lei

"The gross income earned by employees who worked with a full-time employment contract and were paid for the entire month of October 2024 was 8,374 lei, more than a quarter above the basic gross salary (6,553 lei). About 40% of employees who worked with a full-time employment contract and were paid for the entire month of October 2024 earned gross incomes in the range of 5,001-10,000 lei," shows INS data.

On average, the gross income earned by female employees was 491 lei lower than that earned by male employees. The highest gross incomes were earned by employees in the age groups of 30-44 years.
