The presidential advisor Radu Burnete stated that discussions between political parties regarding the salary law will be resumed next week. He emphasized that, in the case of a compromise between the four parties, an extraordinary session of Parliament could be organized to submit the project. Burnete mentioned that there is no blockage, but rather the need for additional technical discussions.

At the previous meeting, the parties agreed to collaborate to fit within the budget of 8 billion lei, and the Ministry of Labor was designated to facilitate dialogue with various occupational groups. Burnete called on unions to participate in these discussions, emphasizing the importance of dialogue. Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan confirmed that the project is not finalized and will require further debates, warning that failure to adopt it could lead to significant financial losses from the PNRR.
