The Romanian Waters have concluded a new tender for the lease of 40 beach sectors, mostly in Eforie, for the period 2025-2034

The auction covered 40 beach sectors, with a total area of 337,265 square meters, of which 15.64 hectares were rented, representing 46% of the total. Most leased beaches are located in Eforie Nord and Eforie Sud, and the auctioned value increased by 23% compared to the starting price. Apele Române is committed to the sustainable use of coastal resources while ensuring public access to the beach. The auction will continue for the sectors not awarded.
