121 Romanians and their families have been repatriated from the Middle East and another 37 people are expected to arrive in the country, the government announced.

The Romanian government has organized the repatriation of 121 Romanian citizens from the armed conflict zone in the Middle East with the help of military aircraft. Another 37 people are on their way back home. The evacuation was carried out through a coordinated effort by several institutions, including the Defense Ministry, and included safety measures for all evacuees. Acting Prime Minister Cătălin Predoiu thanked the diplomats and institutions involved in this action. The government will continue to assist Romanian citizens in the areas affected by the conflict.
