At the fourth Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, the President of the Romanian Senate, Mircea Abrudean, reaffirmed the country's commitment to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression and in its process of integration into the European Union and NATO. Abrudean emphasized that Romania has firmly condemned the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the continuation of the war of aggression.

He also mentioned the adoption of a law that criminalizes the violation of international sanctions against Russia, emphasizing that those who assist sanctioned entities will be held criminally accountable. Romania continues to provide humanitarian aid and protection to Ukrainian refugees, thus supporting the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea.
