Romania has announced a military collaboration with Pakistan, one of the world's nuclear powers, through a meeting between the Minister of Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, and the Pakistani General Sahir Shamshad Mirza. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in the field of defense, analyzing the security situation in various regions, and identifying new ways of collaboration, including joint training and international missions. Moșteanu emphasized the importance of dialogue for strengthening regional security.
