Romania's interim Foreign Minister, Oana Ţoiu, had a discussion with her Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sibiha, in which she received assurances regarding Ukraine's commitment to jointly manage the cross-border risks caused by Russian aggression. Ţoiu emphasized the importance of open dialogue and coordinated actions to prevent crises, mentioning that protecting the lives of citizens is a priority. She also reiterated Romania's condemnation of the illegal war waged by Russia and the commitment to a lasting ceasefire. The discussions included improving early warning mechanisms and protecting the Black Sea, strategic infrastructure, and humanitarian corridors. Ţoiu stated that Romania will continue to collaborate with Ukraine both bilaterally and in international formats to ensure a safe future.
