Following a meeting between the Romanian Minister of Labor and the Spanish ambassador, it was decided to strengthen cooperation in the field of labor and pensions. A joint plan will be drawn up to support Romanians in Spain, including checks on working conditions and information on rights. A memorandum will also be prepared to facilitate the rapid transfer of documents between pension institutions in the two countries, thus reducing waiting times for Romanians who have worked in both countries. Technical discussions to interconnect the IT systems of pension funds are also planned.
