On Wednesday afternoon, an ambulance on a mission, transporting a patient to Cluj-Napoca, was involved in an accident on DN66, in Hunedoara County. The accident occurred after a 67-year-old driver entered the lane of the ambulance, causing the collision. The ambulance driver, a 32-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical care, while the patient in the ambulance was transferred to another medical crew, without sustaining injuries. Both vehicles were damaged, and the police opened a criminal case for bodily harm due to negligence, with the results of the breathalyzer tests being negative for both drivers.
