Rică Răducanu, the legend of Romanian football and former goalkeeper of FC Rapid, was urgently admitted to the Municipal Hospital in Mangalia, where he is hospitalized after a fall. Following the incident, Răducanu suffered two fractured ribs, a dislocated shoulder, and a head injury, also experiencing difficulty breathing.
From his hospital bed, he stated for Golazo that his condition is not good, mentioning: "I am not well, I fell down the stairs. I broke two ribs, dislocated my shoulder, and I am having trouble breathing." Răducanu, who spends his summers on the coast and runs a small business, was a legendary player for FC Rapid, having a remarkable career between 1965 and 1975, as well as a significant contribution to the Romanian national team between 1967 and 1978. He won Divizia A in 1967 and the Romanian Cup in 1972 and 1975.
