A new legislative change means that people accompanying minors on vacation will no longer be required to present a physical criminal record. Border police will check electronically whether the accompanying person has serious criminal offenses that make them incompatible with this role. This measure aims to cut red tape and encourage the digitization of services, but all other required documents, including notarial declarations, remain in place.
