Romania is under a weather alert, with five counties and Bucharest being targeted by a red warning, valid since yesterday at 21:00. Cyclone Barbara will bring large amounts of precipitation to the southeast region of Romania – from Constanta to Giurgiu.

Cyclone Barbara formed in the Mediterranean, somewhere at the southern edge of the Adriatic Sea and has also reached above the Black Sea, and then it will head towards Crimea and the east, stated the director of ANM.

Thus, the cyclone has entered Romania from the south, and after crossing the country, it will head towards Ukraine and Moldova.
