Ramona Lile, the leader of PUSL Arad, has been reinstated as the rector of 'Aurel Vlaicu' University in Arad, following a definitive decision by the High Court of Cassation and Justice. She contested the sanctions received, including the prohibition from holding leadership positions for 5 years, imposed after the confirmation of her academic plagiarism.

The court recently annulled the Order of the Ministry of Education from December 2023, which had dismissed her, and ordered the ministry to issue an order confirming her appointment to the position. Additionally, the ministry must pay 10,000 lei for legal expenses. The court's decision raises a legal paradox, as, despite the confirmation of plagiarism, Lile can resume her leadership position at the university, replacing the current rector.
