On Wednesday morning, police officers from Olt, together with D.I.I.C.O.T. prosecutors, carried out searches at the home of a person suspected of human trafficking. This individual allegedly exploited three victims, two men and one woman, who suffered from mental health issues, forcing them to work daily under conditions of coercion. Investigators claim that the suspect had taken their disability allowances, taking advantage of their vulnerability. The operation was carried out with the support of the Olt County Police Inspectorate and the gendarmes, and the hearings are taking place at the D.I.I.C.O.T. - Olt Territorial Office.
