Radu Miruță, the Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, announced on Facebook that he is in Riyadh, at the invitation of the Government of Saudi Arabia, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries. He emphasizes the importance of the rapid adoption of technologies in the economy, mentioning that countries that integrate technology early stand out in development. Miruță highlighted the current moment as crucial for artificial intelligence. He also thanked Deemah AlYahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, for the technical discussions held and for the invitation extended to Romania to join the organization that promotes digital cooperation between countries and accelerates the inclusive digital economy.
