The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, declared on Thursday, in Parliament, before the Government meeting, that at this moment there are no resignations from PSD ministers and called for clarity from the social democrats since, she says, there are several delegations that PSD ministers "have prepared internationally, about which they have not informed us that they will not follow through".
Oana Ţoiu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced that PSD ministers will not participate in the Government meeting scheduled for 11:00, delegating instead the secretaries of state.
"At this moment, we still do not have any resignation from any minister. Officially, I will not comment on the interim positions, since no PSD minister, until now, has relinquished the power they hold," Ţoiu emphasized.
She also mentioned that the ministers had prepared several international delegations, but did not inform about the intention not to honor them. "At this moment, there are several delegations that these ministers have prepared internationally, about which they have not informed us that they will not follow through. Romania, on a good part of these ministers, has a mandate of representation, is also waiting for clarity from them if they intend or not to honor the international invitations, or clarity regarding the persons they will designate for these delegations," she said.
The minister stated that she will comment on resignations only at the moment they are formalized.
