The draft law proposed by the Bolojan Government makes significant changes to service pensions, imposing a standard retirement age and a minimum service of 35 years. The amount of the pension will be limited to 70% of the net income in the last month of service. A new staggering of the retirement age for magistrates and the possibility of early retirement with penalties are also envisaged. Judges of the Constitutional Court will continue to be regulated by specific law, avoiding legislative parallelism.
