Prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine, 160 Russian soldiers have been repatriated in exchange for 160 Ukrainian prisoners.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced the repatriation of 160 Russian soldiers, in exchange for the handover of 160 prisoners of war from the Ukrainian armed forces.

These prisoner exchanges represent one of the last areas of cooperation between Russia and Ukraine and the only concrete result of negotiations between the two states. In this context, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed a "40-day influence operation," coordinated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), aimed at pressuring Moscow to end the conflict. Zelensky emphasized that the SBU has demonstrated high performance in defending Ukrainian positions, using drones for attacks on Russian infrastructure.

He also mentioned that, in recent weeks, Ukraine has managed to recover territory, and drone attacks have led to a fuel shortage in over 60 regions of Russia.
