Emergency evacuation in Ceatalchioi, Tulcea following new estimates from nuclear authorities

The authorities ordered the preventive evacuation of the locality of Ceatalchioi in Tulcea County, following estimates made by the National Commission for Nuclear Activities Control, announced ISU Tulcea. The measure, decided in the extraordinary meeting of the County Committee for Emergency Situations at 1:00 PM, targets both people and animals.

The evacuees are being transported by two minibuses and a special vehicle for multiple victims and will be temporarily relocated to spaces provided by the Tulcea City Hall. Previously, the locality of Plauru was also evacuated after a ship loaded with LPG was hit by a drone on the Ukrainian bank of the Danube.
