A 1-year-old child had complications after a liver transplant, as the MMR vaccine could not be given due to immunosuppressive treatment.

A 1 year and 6 month old girl underwent a liver transplant from a living donor, and the operation was followed by several post-operative complications. Because of immunosuppressive treatment, administration of the MMR vaccine became impossible. Since the start of the measles epidemic, 13 cases of measles have been reported in Bacău county.
