On Wednesday, DNA prosecutors carried out a flagrant action involving Adriana Georgescu, a lawyer and member of the PNL Sector 1 organization, and another person who claimed to be a SIE general. The two were caught with 60,000 euros in their possession, in a case concerning influence peddling, where a total sum of 500,000 euros was allegedly requested. Judicial sources confirmed that the person posing as a SIE general is not, in fact, an employee of the Foreign Intelligence Service. This investigation is ongoing, and the information is still being updated.
