The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated that Romania is at a decisive moment, needing 10 billion euros through the PNRR, with an implementation deadline until August 31, 2026.

Pîslaru emphasized that attracting these funds requires rigorous work, not just public communication, and pointed to Ilie Bolojan as a capable leader to manage this process. He criticized previous governments for delaying reforms and highlighted that the current approach focuses on real investments in infrastructure, education, and digitalization.

Pîslaru warned about the risks of a political crisis and stressed the importance of stability in the fragile international context. He also reiterated the metaphor of "light in the pantry" to highlight the necessary transparency in administration, in contrast to waste and clientelism. Finally, Pîslaru reaffirmed the commitment to continue reforms alongside Bolojan, emphasizing the need for an honest and responsible Romania.
