The interim Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru, presented on Tuesday information about the relocation of over 400 people from illegal nursing homes in Bihor County, led by Viorel Păca, and requested weekly inspections to monitor the situation of the beneficiaries.
Of these, 125 are women and 268 are men, and only 171 beneficiaries have identity documents, some of which are expired. Efforts are being made to establish the identity and age of all individuals, but for 19 there is no data regarding age, and 11 do not have a personal identification number (CNP). The data has been centralized by the Social Assistance and Social Inspection directorates. Among the relocated individuals, 125 have a disability certificate, 121 have income, and 18 own housing.
The relocations took place in social centers from 20 counties, with a total of 393 individuals, and 15 have been admitted to medical units. The Minister ordered weekly monitoring of their situation and collaboration with the Police to identify those without a CNP.
